30th Celebration: Classic Collection Price Moves — 03 November 2026

Lugia leads the current price selection but has its steepest declines. Compare Charizard, Magikarp and the contrasting weekly and monthly moves.

Acorn TCG editorial teamPublished:

Lugia has the highest current price among the selected 30th Celebration: Classic Collection cards, alongside the largest percentage decline over both seven and thirty days. Pikachu & Zekrom-GX offers a different finding: its weekly fall sits alongside a monthly gain. A falling weekly price alone does not tell you how a card compares with its longer period.

This comparison selects the five highest current reference prices for English Holo cards in the set with both reported periods available; it does not represent the whole set or Pokémon market.

Prices checked on 03 November 2026 cover English, ungraded Near Mint Holo copies in USD. These reference prices average multiple sources and are not guaranteed purchase offers or sale prices.

Compare each card’s current price with its seven-day and thirty-day changes. This separates how expensive a card is now from how much its price has moved, which matters when choosing between similarly priced collection gaps.

Lugia and Charizard: close prices, different declines

Lugia’s position at the top of this selection does not mean it held its price best. It fell more sharply in percentage terms than every other listed card across both periods. If Lugia is your missing card, the useful next comparison is between an actual offer for this printing and its current benchmark; the decline alone does not establish that the offer is good.

Charizard sits close to Lugia in current price, but its declines are smaller across both periods. For a collector deciding which card to add, a similar purchase budget therefore comes with a different recent price history. Neither history establishes what happens next.

Magikarp and the importance of checking both periods

Magikarp has the next-highest current price after Lugia and Charizard, yet its thirty-day percentage decline is much closer to Lugia’s than Charizard’s. A lower current price does not necessarily mean a smaller recent move.

Gengar also fell across both periods. Pikachu & Zekrom-GX is the only listed card with a positive thirty-day change despite a negative seven-day change. That contrast makes it worth checking both columns before describing a card simply as rising or falling; the figures do not show a day-by-day path.

Before comparing an offer

  • Match the set and collector number, then confirm English language, Holo finish and ungraded Near Mint condition.
  • Check the currency, observation date and price metric. A seller’s asking price and an average across sources answer different questions.
  • Use the card’s place on your collection wishlist alongside the price comparison; a reported decline is not a reason by itself to buy.

Acorn TCG shows reference prices for cards and their available variants, giving you a way to continue checking the cards you want. Price availability varies by card and variant, so confirm which printing and finish the displayed price describes.
